We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Support Assistant to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all areas of the hospital are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors and staff.
- Perform high and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to maintain high hospital standards.
- Clean wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
- Ensure rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full.
- Use equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
- Be aware of patients who may be unwell or showing signs of distress and provide support as needed.
