Salary

The successful appointee can expect a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, reflecting the trust's commitment to attracting top talent in the field of clinical oncology.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Clinical Oncology Specialist to provide expert care to patients with head and neck and lung cancer. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of clinicians and contribute to the provision of radiotherapy services.

The role involves:

  • Providing oncology expertise in the management and treatment of patients with head and neck and lung cancer.
  • Participating in the out-of-hours on-call service for oncology.
  • Supervising and managing junior medical staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or equivalent.
  • Experience in clinical oncology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
