Clinical Placement Specialist

At Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to helping nurses return to their profession. As a Clinical Placement Specialist, you will be part of our dedicated team that supports previously registered adult and child branch nurses in undertaking a Return to Practice nursing course.
Role OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have lapsed NMC registration to regain their certification and resume their career as a Band 5 nurse. The post holder will complete an NMC-validated Return Practice Programme, consisting of timetabled study sessions and supervised practice in a clinical placement.
- Attend university study days to engage in independent learning and develop your skills.
- Complete 150-450 hours of supervised practice in your clinical placement, working closely with experienced healthcare professionals.
You will be required to work from 22.5 hours up to full-time hours per week and attend university study days. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be guaranteed an interview for a Band 5 position at Kingston Hospital.
We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a bursary of £1,000 to assist with course-related expenses. University fees are paid by Health Education England.
