As a Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Manager, you will oversee the accounts team, implement workflow procedures, ensure clients' statutory accounts are maintained to a high standard, and provide guidance to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line manager of the accounts preparation team, delegating assignments and aiding their professional development
  • Involvement in all aspects of accounts preparation, ensuring standards and deadlines are met (primarily FRS102, FRS102 1A, and FRS105)
  • Evolving and developing the accounts team, ensuring processes are in place and internal resources are efficient

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA / ICAEW or equivalent) with previous experience in an accountancy firm
  • IT skills including Excel and accounting software (Xero, IRIS, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
  • Previous experience of engaging and supporting clients
