Overview

Job Description

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with business unit leaders and functional teams to understand their financial needs and provide expert support in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. You will lead the development and implementation of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You will also coordinate and consolidate accurate and timely financial forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business drivers.

You will continuously monitor and update forecasts to reflect changes in the business environment, managing risks and opportunities effectively. Additionally, you will develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, assess the impact of strategic decisions, and support scenario planning. You will analyse financial performance, key metrics, and trends to identify areas of opportunity or risk, providing actionable insights to improve business performance and drive profitability.

Key Requirements
  • At least 3 years post-qualified CIMA/ACCA with a demonstrable track record of delivering results.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams.
