Customer Service Ambassador

We are seeking two Customer Helpers to join our team at Stagecoach Hastings Depot, providing exceptional customer service and support in our busy rail interchange and town centre bus stops.
The successful candidates will be the public face of Stagecoach South East, delivering excellent customer experience and information to customers. As the first point of contact, you will aim to be approachable and responsive to every customer with a personal touch.
You will work closely with colleagues in our local control team and service delivery support team to provide helpful real-time service information and have the ability and confidence to think outside the box and provide feedback on customer sentiment and suggestions to managers.

- Excellent verbal and social communication skills
- Resilient, flexible, and able to work in a mobile capacity
- Friendly and approachable demeanour
- Experience in customer service roles
- Able to work independently
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge of products and services
- Ability to effectively communicate company policies/procedures to customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Care deeply, genuinely, and passionately about customer support
This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including paid training, career progression opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
Successful candidates will need to be available to work between 0800-1200 or 1400-1800 Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as required.
