Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home

At Servisource Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a Children's Residential Home in Telford. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home and ensuring the highest standards of care for young people aged 10 to 25 with complex emotional, psychological, and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Registered Manager in maintaining staff rotas and coverage, ensuring that the home is always fully staffed and ready to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Identify care deficits and training needs, providing necessary training to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality care.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the home, including supervising staff, managing pre-admission assessments, care plans, and records, and ensuring that all statutory requirements are met.
  • Act as a role model and key worker, providing guidance and support to staff and residents, and ensuring that the home is a safe and welcoming environment for all.
  • Comply with Company procedures and statutory requirements, including health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection.
Requirements:
  • Possession or working towards a Diploma level 5 in Leadership and Management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, including out-of-hours and on-call duties.
