Job Title: Carers Support Specialist

Location: North Ayrshire

Contract Type: Full Time – 35 Hours inc. Evening and Weekend

Estimated Salary: £24,222 + 5% Employer Pension Contribution (£25,529)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Establish links within community health settings across North Ayrshire to identify carers and their families who need information, advice, and support.
  • Provide direct service to individual carers informing them of their rights under the Carers Act (Scotland) 2016.
  • Facilitate carer involvement in discharge planning of patients.

As a Carers Support Specialist, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure that unpaid carers are informed, involved, and supported throughout the care process.
