Education Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team at North Ayrshire Council. This role involves supporting young people with additional communication, learning, and emotional needs within the Secondary Support Resource at Irvine Royal Academy.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and delivering personalized curriculum plans, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and health and wellbeing. You will work closely with internal services and community partners to provide the best outcomes for learners in your care.
This support role requires applicants to be GTCS Primary or Secondary registered Teachers. As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
We offer a competitive salary of £22,125 - £30,843 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Please note that this post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
