Job Description

As an Operations Executive at Evelyn Partners, you will be responsible for processing Additional Permitted Subscription (APS) requests, ensuring assets and monies are correctly drawn down against allowance and all documentation is in place. You will also be responsible for completing Lifetime ISA Subscriptions as requested by Front Office, checking the validity of ISA Clients, and reviewing control reports to ensure the validity of ISA Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process APS requests, ensuring assets and monies are correctly drawn down against allowance and all documentation is in place.
  • Complete Lifetime ISA Subscriptions as requested by Front Office.
  • Check the validity of ISA Clients and add ISA Marker to AVALOQ System, to allow ISA Subscriptions.
  • Review control reports to ensure the validity of ISA Clients.
  • Review and respond to technical queries received from Front Office around over subscriptions, HMRC Regulations, etc., and liaise with other industry bodies as required.
  • Gain a clear understanding of HMRC Regulations around the administration where we are acting as ISA Manager.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to ISA Issues.
  • Attend external meetings/sessions in relation to ISA Management & Industry Changes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers to drive consistency and cultural alignment with the brand.
  • Previous experience in an Investment Operations role is desirable.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to adapt conversation for external parties and to suit any level within the business.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills & experience, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • A positive can-do attitude, with a strong desire to deliver results.
  • Comfortable to work as an individual as well as working well within a team.
  • An ability to adapt to changes in process and the use of new systems.
  • Gained, or with a desire to work towards obtaining IOC qualification.
