Key Responsibilities
  • Perform specialist assessments of respiratory patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.
  • Support all elements of the service, including hospital at home, admission avoidance, oxygen services, pulmonary rehabilitation, and specialist respiratory nurse-led clinics.

The successful candidate will have comprehensive clinical experience enabling them to manage a caseload of patients with complex needs in this specialty.

They must also possess significant experience of managing a caseload of patients with complex needs in this specialty, minimum 12 months post-registration experience, providing a broad range of experience, including respiratory.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of COPD NICE Guidelines, COPD GOLD Guidelines Standards of Care, BTS Pulmonary Rehabilitation Guidelines, BTS Bronchiectasis Guidelines, and current legislation and application to patient care.
