Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Care Team Lead to join our team at Komplex Group Ltd. The successful candidate will provide personalized support to our client with complex autism and learning disabilities.

Salary: £18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the client, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship, ensuring the client feels valued and understood.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living activities.
  • Monitor the client's health condition, administer medication, and ensure medical appointments are attended.
  • Support the client in accessing community facilities and participating in social activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader, other professionals, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the learning disabilities sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
  • A caring and supportive attitude, with patience and sensitivity to the needs of people with different health issues.
  • The ability to adapt to the varying needs of a client and handle different situations effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are often preferred.
