East Cheshire NHS Trust Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Clinical Triage Professional to join our team in a part-time role, primarily working on weekends but also potentially some weekday evenings or nights across a 7-day roster.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical triage as an integral part of the GP Out of Hours Service, working autonomously but as part of a team of Triage Practitioners, GP's, Call Handlers, and Drivers within the GP Out of Hours service based at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' needs and provide appropriate advice and treatment over the phone.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in clinical triage and assessment through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:
  • NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registered General Nurse or HCPC (Health and Care Professional Council) registered Paramedic.
  • Triage/Clinical Assessment Training.
  • Evidence of continuing post-registration development.

Salary: £25-£35 per hour (dependent on experience)
