We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Front Office team at KE Hotels (Newcastle). As a Front Office Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests upon arrival and departure.
- Deal with guests promptly and efficiently, adhering to company standards for check-in and check-out procedures.
- Assist with guest reviews and updates as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property.
- Support department heads in maintaining service standard excellence.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Be flexible and willing to assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed.
- Deal with emergency situations, such as fires, downtime, accidents, or system failures.
- Complete Duty Management duties, including lobby management, Concierge, and Front Desk Area responsibilities.
- Address guest queries and complaints in a satisfactory manner.
- Represent the hotel industry and IHG hotel brand as an ambassador.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and demeanor.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and good initiative.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment, preferably in hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency (Opera PMS).
- Attention to detail and high motivation.
