Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodevelopmental Therapist to join our team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to work with children and young people with neurodivergent conditions.

About the Role: As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement holistic treatment plans, and provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Develop and implement holistic treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior team members
  • Contribute to the development of the service through audit and quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people with neurodivergent conditions
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children with SEND
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to use mobile working technology

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is £43,141 - £70,324 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
