Job Description:This role offers the chance to work with vulnerable students, making a positive impact on their lives and education. As an Alternative Education Specialist at Tradewind Recruitment, you will be responsible for teaching children aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs.
About the Job:
- You will be working in a secondary alternative education provision in Cheshire East, catering to pupils with EHCPs for SEMH needs and associated obstacles to learning.
- Your daily tasks will involve teaching across the curriculum, differentiating for individual needs, levels, and behaviors of each pupil.
- As part of our team, you will focus on safety, inclusion, and holistic outcomes while striving for each pupil to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- QTS, QTLS, or other relevant teaching qualification
- An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
- Minimum of 2 professional references
- A CV with a full history
- The legal right to work in the UK
