Job Description:

In this challenging yet rewarding role as a Support Worker for Alternative Education, you will be working with a secondary aged student in Sunderland who requires additional support throughout their final year of study.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored academic and emotional support to the student, helping them to manage their learning environment and achieve their personal and academic goals.

You will play a key role in monitoring and supporting the student's behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

To succeed in this role, you must have a compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students, as well as a good understanding of alternative education provisions and how they support students' learning and personal development.

  • Estimated salary: £13.00 per hour
