Early Years Care Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Care Specialist to join our team in supporting the daily care and education of children at one of our partnered nurseries in the Tamworth area.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting the nursery team in planning and implementing activities that promote the development of children aged from babies to 5 years old.

The working hours can be flexible, between 07:30 - 17:30, dependent on the needs of the nursery. You may be required to conduct various roles such as day-to-day supply, long-term, and short-term assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of activities promoting children's development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of learning materials and resources.
  • E nsure the nursery's policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Assist with personal care tasks for children, including toileting, feeding, and dressing.
  • Observe and record children's progress, communicating this information to the lead teacher.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a desire to start a career in early childhood education.
  • A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential.
  • A valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
