Animal Care Specialist Opportunity at GLG Vets

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated animal care professional to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to provide exceptional veterinary care to animals. You will work closely with our team of veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • Annual leave plus Bank Holidays

  • VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees paid
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A veterinary degree from a recognized institution
  • A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
