Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, controlling, managing, and ensuring the effective administration of commercial and financial aspects of all contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop commercial processes and procedures to maximize returns in terms of profit.
  • Manage and reduce unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.
  • Maximize cash flow through valuations, submission of invoices, and receipt of payment.
  • Final Accounts management, including variations, claims, and disputes.
  • Financial forecasting for use in setting targets and managing the business.
  • Monitoring resources and costs to ensure that projects meet agreed targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within the social housing sector, ideally on planned & reactive maintenance contracts.
  • Experience with cost control, BOQ, cost management, planning, and reporting.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
