Job Title: Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Michael Page (UK). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management, with a proven track record of success in a social housing or commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of monthly expenditure and negotiation of contract rates
  • Closing out end of contract final accounts and extension of supply chain contracts
  • Detailed analysis of variance against budget and forecasts, including analysis of quotes from contractors
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience in quantity surveying and commercial management
  • Experience in a Senior Quantity Surveying or Commercial Manager role in a social housing or commercial environment
  • Strong planning, budgeting, organizing, and prioritization skills, with the ability to interpret financial and other systems data
  • Experience managing staff in a commercial-related environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word, with excellent writing skills and demonstrable evidence of writing narratives and reports for formal disputes
