Salary: £26,600 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Service Lead to join our team at Ambient Support. As a Service Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Midlands service clusters, ensuring that everyone we support has the means to express their needs and wishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational performance of the service, identifying and escalating potential risks.
  • Manage staff costs, including agency usage, to ensure compliance with agreed budgets.
  • Stakeholder management, including managing complaints and acting as the first point of contact for families, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Manage the finances of each person being supported, including income and outgoings, and supporting people to withdraw cash as needed.
  • Lead, develop, empower, and engage your team to do their very best work and create an environment and culture that promotes Ambient Support as a great place to work.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Care Certificate, a Diploma in Health and Social Care, or related qualification.
  • Significant experience of supporting people with a learning disability or mental health issue and working in partnership with families and significant others.
  • Awareness and understanding of diversity issues, including non-discriminatory practice.
  • Literacy skills for report writing, verbal skills for communication, and numeracy skills for managing budgets.
