About the Role:

\

We are seeking a child-centred Welfare and Administrative Assistant to start in January 2025. The role will involve two key aspects: welfare assistant and managing/monitoring pupil attendance.

\

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • To supervise and interact with children and manage their behaviour in a positive way\
  • To have an understanding of first aid, health and safety, and safeguarding issues in school\
  • To have good IT skills and be methodical and accurate\
  • To have good organisation skills and attention to detail\
\

Requirements:

  • A high expectation of self and commitment to improving the lives of children in care\
  • Excellent communication skills\
  • Fluency in English and ideally a community language\
  • To enjoy working with children and establish a positive relationship to help them with their welfare needs\
