Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Crisis Manager to join our team at the Intellect Group in London.

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum

The Intellect Group is a leading provider of crisis response and risk management services. We work with over 400 clients worldwide, offering independent and objective advice to protect their reputation during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Crisis Management Service Offering: Develop and standardize crisis planning, risk assessments, communication strategies, and post-crisis evaluations.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry standards, competitors, and market demand to position our crisis management services effectively.
  3. Business Development: Collaborate with leadership to pitch and promote crisis management services to potential clients.
  4. Process Development: Create standardized processes, tools, and templates for assessing risks, developing response plans, and executing crisis responses.
  5. Crisis Response Planning: Design tailored crisis management plans for clients, including scenario planning, roles, and responsibilities.
  6. Training Programs: Develop and deliver crisis management and media training, along with simulation exercises to help clients prepare for different types of crises.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams for an effective multidisciplinary crisis response and reputation management.
  8. Crisis Response: Provide strategic counsel to clients during active crises to mitigate reputational risks.
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of experience in crisis management
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  3. Business development experience, including client acquisition and relationship management
  4. Proficiency in facilitating and delivering workshops, exercises, and training
  5. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate risks and develop proactive crisis plans
  6. Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office
  7. Ability to work from the London office regularly
