Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Public Affairs and Policy Influence Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our public affairs strategy, influencing government policy, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of parliamentary procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically. You will work closely with our Policy and Campaigns team to develop and implement effective campaigns that drive change.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our public affairs strategy to influence government policy and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including MPs, politicians, and other influencers.
  • Work closely with our Policy and Campaigns team to develop and deliver effective campaigns.
  • Provide secretariat support to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ending Homelessness.
  • Manage communications and events related to our public affairs activity.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of parliamentary procedures and experience of working with APPGs or similar groups.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Able to think strategically and develop effective campaigns.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
