Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our dynamic retail team at our new shop in Ealing Broadway. As part of our unique and creative shopping experience, you will work closely with the Shop Manager to drive sales, build a volunteer team, and oversee donations.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have supervisory experience, preferably in retail, and be passionate about the impact of charity retail within a circular economy. Your keen eye for style and ability to create a visually engaging shopping experience will make you stand out. Moreover, your management and motivational skills will foster a positive and productive working environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and motivating staff and volunteers, ensuring a welcoming and visually appealing shopping experience for customers. You will also play a key role in driving sales and building a dynamic volunteer team.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include interest-free loans for travel season tickets, cycle-to-work schemes, and deposits for renting homes. We also offer a pension scheme with an employer contribution of 8.5% and 28 days' annual leave (pro rata), increasing with service. Additional benefits include enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental, and adoption pay, flexible working hours, and wellbeing leave.
