Water Companion Volunteer

SeeAbility is a charity dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities and autism who may also have sight loss. As a Water Companion Volunteer, you will play a vital role in helping our beneficiaries build confidence and develop new skills.
We are looking for reliable and punctual individuals who are confident in the water and good swimmers. You will be responsible for joining our beneficiaries in the pool, encouraging them to swim and play, while also being kind, empathetic, and friendly.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good sense of humour and be enthusiastic. You will also need to be over 18 years old and undergo a DBS check and two satisfactory references before starting.
We estimate that this role will pay around £12 per hour, based on industry standards for similar roles in Leatherhead. As a volunteer, you will also receive training and support from our experienced team.
