At SeeAbility, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Swim Buddies. As a Swim Buddy, you'll play a vital role in supporting people with learning disabilities and autism, who may also have sight loss, to increase their confidence, boost their mood, and keep fit.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. As a Swim Buddy, you'll be part of a supportive team that's dedicated to helping people reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the water, encouraging them to swim and play.
  • Work closely with our Support Workers, who will provide guidance and support throughout the session.
  • Help create a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Requirements:

  • Be confident in the water and a good swimmer.
  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • Have a good sense of humour and be enthusiastic.
  • Be kind, empathetic, and friendly.
