Swim Buddy Volunteer Role

At SeeAbility, we are seeking a Swim Buddy Volunteer to join our team and support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the water. As a Swim Buddy, you will play a vital role in helping our service users build confidence, boost their mood, and stay active.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the water, promoting a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Work closely with our Support Workers to ensure the personal care and safety of our service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.

Requirements:
  • Confidence in the water and good swimming ability.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Good sense of humour and enthusiasm.
  • Kind, empathetic, and friendly approach.
