At SeeAbility, we are seeking a Swim Buddy Volunteer to join our team and support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the water. As a Swim Buddy, you will play a vital role in helping our service users build confidence, boost their mood, and stay active.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the water, promoting a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Work closely with our Support Workers to ensure the personal care and safety of our service users.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
Requirements:
- Confidence in the water and good swimming ability.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good sense of humour and enthusiasm.
- Kind, empathetic, and friendly approach.
