At SeeAbility, we're seeking a dedicated Swim Buddy to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. As a Swim Buddy, you'll play a vital role in supporting our service users in the water, promoting their independence and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist service users in the pool, promoting their swimming and water-based activities.
- Work collaboratively with our Support Workers to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
- Develop strong relationships with service users, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements:
- Confident swimmer with excellent water-based skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic individual.
- Kind, empathetic, and friendly approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
