We are seeking a skilled leader to join our Patient Relations team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As part of a department that combines the Complaints service and PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service), this is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients, families, and carers.
You will lead a dedicated Complaints team, ensuring all cases are managed efficiently and in line with Trust policies and national regulations. You'll oversee the triaging, allocation, and resolution of complaints within your allocated Clinical Delivery Groups (CDGs), providing quality assurance and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the management of complaints, from initial receipt to final resolution.
- Providing expert advice to staff and CDG colleagues on handling complaints and implementing improvements.
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to drive service improvements and enhancements.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on experience.
