Job Title: Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant to join our Marketing Operations team at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our Academic and Professional books division, ensuring seamless communication and efficient resolution of customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inspection copies inbox, responding to requests and providing accurate information to customers
  • Coordinate academic reviews, sending review copies to journals and media outlets, and excerpting published reviews for marketing and sales teams
  • Update and maintain customer data in our CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance customer service
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification or experience in publishing, marketing, or customer service
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
