About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Hudson Hospital, Bury. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing clinical and managerial supervision to our Occupational Therapy service, working closely with our Head Occupational Therapist and Regional Lead of Occupational Therapy.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience working in secure mental health settings. You will be responsible for leading and developing evidence-based practice, as well as contributing to the Hospital-wide Occupational Therapy provision across our 6 LSU and MSU wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and managerial supervision to Occupational Therapy staff
  • Lead and develop evidence-based practice in occupational therapy
  • Contribute to the Hospital-wide Occupational Therapy provision
  • Work closely with the Head Occupational Therapist and Regional Lead of Occupational Therapy

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in occupational therapy
  • Experience working in secure mental health settings
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
