We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special school catering for pupils aged 2-19 years with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SLD and PMLD in various activities and lessons
  • Assist teachers in preparing learning materials and resources
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social and emotional development

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a special school and/or supporting pupils with SLD and PMLD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
