Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Kingston upon Thames. As a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The RoleAs a SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development, improving their communication and social skills.
- Working with children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), anxiety, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
- Collaborating with qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide a comprehensive support system.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Has obtained a First-Class Psychology Degree or a degree from a Top 20 University.
- Has previous experience and a passion for working with children.
- Aims to become an Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
- Has excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience.
