About the Role

We're seeking a Technical Trainer to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our Operations team, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering technical training plans to ensure our workforce has the necessary skills to succeed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical training plans in conjunction with our Learning & Development team
  • Provide technical training to ensure consistent learning standards across our sites
  • Audit and review technical training materials to ensure they're up-to-date and effective
  • Promote a balanced approach to formal training, coaching and on-the-job learning to enhance performance
  • Maintain and update training records

Requirements

  • Educational background: Apprenticeship qualified or holds an engineering-based NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Operational insight: Ability to develop training materials and conduct engaging training sessions based on operational equipment
  • Industry experience: Experience in the FMCG/Supply Chain sector, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Compliance knowledge: Awareness of Health, Safety and Environment policies
  • Quality systems understanding: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
