Cover Supervisor Opportunity in Liverpool

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic secondary school and contribute to the academic success and well-being of students.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a passion for working with young people and supporting their educational development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lesson Supervision: Supervise students during lessons, ensuring they remain on task and follow instructions provided by the teacher.
  2. Classroom Management: Manage classroom behavior, ensuring a respectful and productive learning environment.
  3. Resource Setup: Assist with the setup of classroom resources and materials for lessons.
  4. Student Support: Support students with learning tasks, providing additional help where needed.
  5. Safeguarding: Ensure students adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols.
  6. Break Time Supervision: Supervise students during break times and lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  7. Progress Feedback: Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding students' progress and behavior.
  8. Liaison: Liaise with the school leadership team to ensure any issues or concerns are reported in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Administrative Support: Occasionally support in administrative tasks as required.
