Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's vision, developing and implementing policies, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading by example, demonstrating clear values and moral purpose.
  • Providing direction and line management of the senior leadership team.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality education, meeting the needs of all students, particularly those with SEND.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of school systems, making improvements where necessary to meet statutory requirements.
  • Leading on Ofsted inspections, ensuring the school meets the required standards.
  • Managing staff development programmes, ensuring teachers and support staff receive relevant training and support.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of SEND and a commitment to delivering inclusive education.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
