We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at We Care Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement healthy and balanced meal plans in consultation with residents and staff.
- Ensure that all dietary requirements are met, including religious and cultural backgrounds.
- Assist with food preparation, including loading trollies and ensuring prompt collection.
- Work under the direction of the cook to prepare meals and assist with baking.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Load the dishwasher and/or wash-up by hand as required.
- Ensure all washed items are clean and dry before putting them away.
- Assist with ordering supplies and putting away delivered items promptly.
- Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews.
- Induct new starters in accordance with We Care Group policy.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals you support.
Requirements:
