Weekend Retail Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Weekend Retail Assistant to join our team at Sgts Mess, Alanbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, Thirsk, YO7 3EY. As a Weekend Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and supporting the sales and service team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Clean and maintain the store, including the kitchen, equipment, and public areas
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • Operate tills and handle cash transactions
  • Perform daily paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
  • Report any feedback, complaints, or suggestions to the line manager
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • A great team player with a flexible approach to duties
  • A DBS check is required
  • Transport is required due to the site being remote with limited public transport
