Weekend Retail Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Weekend Retail Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the kitchen, back of house areas, and public spaces.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, operating tills and handling cash transactions.
  • Perform daily paperwork and keep diligent records as required, including stock levels and sales data.
  • Follow food hygiene and safety procedures, reporting any feedback, complaints, or hazards to the line manager.
  • Undertake relevant training as required, including working towards Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full on-the-job training will be provided.
  • A great team player with a flexible approach to duties, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A DBS check is required, and transport is necessary due to the site being remote with limited public transport.
