About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Sales Business Development Manager to join our team in growing business with existing customer accounts, exploring new markets and white space. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further hone and develop their software sales skills working for a market leader with a predicted annual revenue growth of 12%.
Key Responsibilities- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and/or prospective customers to maintain renewal business and generate new business for an assigned industry vertical, region or set of named accounts to achieve or exceed revenue objectives.
- Deploy Ansys' well defined customer engagement process to uncover customer's pain points, unpacking the impact of their current situation, and discussing their desired positive business outcomes to identify and position the best solution.
- Clearly presents the value of company's products/services through metrics and proof points considering Ansys' value framework while tying to the customer's needs and differentiating from competition.
- Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with 1+ years of experience of demonstrated success in technical, business or sales positions.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
