Senior Technical Manager

itsu is a leading Asian-inspired quick-service retail and grocery brand with over 80 restaurants across the UK, Belgium, and France. We are looking for a Senior Technical Manager to lead our technical strategy and ensure the highest quality and safest ingredients across our estate.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of itsu's Technical Strategy
- Own the reporting for technical aspects
- Manage product and supplier relationships
- Maintain specifications and finished product administration
- Work on projects, NPD, and innovation
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a Technical Function within the food industry
- Expertise in working with different food categories and strong knowledge of UK food regulations
- Technical strategy development and implementation experience
- Preferably qualified to a relevant Food Science or Technology degree standard or equivalent
- Internal and external audit experience and knowledge of food safety systems
