**Job Overview:**

A highly skilled Techncial Draughtsman and Mechanical Team Lead is required for an international Defence and Weapons Systems Company that is expanding their team. The successful candidate will be part of the Mechanical Engineering department and will be involved in supporting technical changes to existing company products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead a small team of engineers, overseeing resource allocation and task assignments.
  • Deliver high-quality technical documentation to support engineering solutions.
  • Establish and maintain data configuration control processes.
  • Ensure technical data pack output meets quality requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in drawing standards, engineering, and quality standards (e.g., BS 8888).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO Parametrics, AutoCAD) and configuration management.
  • Working knowledge of technical office processes and standards.

Estimated salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. **Security Clearance (SC) may be required due to the nature of the Defence products involved.**
