Family Support Liaison

Lynx Employment Services is a well-established company seeking a highly skilled Children's Contact Worker to join their team in the Birmingham area. The estimated annual salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000, depending on experience.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position requiring 3 months' commitment, with the potential for extension. You will be responsible for transporting and supervising children in care during contact with their parents or carers.
Key Responsibilities
- You will collect and transport children from their placement to the contact venue, ensuring their safety at all times.
- You will supervise contact between children and their parents/carers, adhering to established procedures.
- Upon completion of each contact session, you will provide a written report detailing the proceedings.
- In the event of any safeguarding concerns, you will promptly notify the Contact Manager and allocated social worker.
Requirements
- To be successful in this role, you must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (Adults and Children) on the Update Service.
- A current driving license and sole use of a vehicle are also essential.
- Business insurance will be required.
Benefits
- Mileage expenses will be reimbursed at 45p per mile for business use.
