UK Family Grief Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate family grief support worker to join our team at Child Bereavement UK.
The successful candidate will work with families who have experienced the death of a baby or child, or whose children are grieving the loss of someone important to them. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload, providing individual and couple sessions, as well as facilitated groups for parents who have lost a baby or child.
You will also contribute to the provision of a programme of individual and family support sessions, groups for families, groups for young people, and school liaison. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides training and support to professionals in health and social care, education, and the voluntary sectors.
A recognised health, social care, or counselling qualification, experience in working with children, young people, and families, and excellent communication skills are essential. If you have a passion for supporting bereaved families and those whose roles bring them into contact with these families, we encourage you to apply.
**Salary:** £28,000 per annum (plus benefits)
**Location:** Hybrid working from Child Bereavement UK's Centre in Birmingham and home-based work arrangements.
