The Wildlife Trusts is a leading movement of charities working to protect and restore wildlife in the UK. With over 110 years of experience, we have restored and care for some of the most special places for wildlife in the country.


Job Description

We are seeking an expert in international nature and climate policy to lead our growing international work programme. The successful candidate will oversee our linkages to global treaties and programmes on nature and climate, including the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, Convention on Biological Diversity, and IUCN.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop our linkages to international treaties and programmes on nature and climate
  • Lead on developing our comms work on international climate and nature
  • Provide dedicated support to the Chief Executive, Deputy CEO, and Senior Leadership Team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of international nature and climate policy, as well as experience in developing and implementing strategies. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.


Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include a comprehensive pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
