Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Media Officer to join our team in Newark. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive media strategy to promote The Wildlife Trusts' work and raise awareness of our conservation efforts. This will involve creating engaging content, building relationships with journalists and influencers, and managing our online presence.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a media strategy to promote The Wildlife Trusts' work and raise awareness of our conservation efforts
- Create engaging content for various media channels, including press releases, social media posts, and website articles
- Build relationships with journalists and influencers to secure media coverage and promote our work
- Manage our online presence, including social media platforms and our website
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement marketing campaigns

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the media landscape, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have experience of working with social media platforms and a good understanding of SEO principles. A salary of up to £35,280 per annum is available for this role, depending on experience.
