Education Assistant Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment. As a specialist school, we support students with communication and associated difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver whole-class, group, and individual lessons across various subjects. Our unique class size of up to 10 students allows for personalized attention and focus on each student's needs.
We offer a supportive environment with a full clinical team on site and an experienced Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
* Deliver whole-class, group, and individual lessons under the guidance of the Class Teacher
* Collaborate with the clinical team and SLT to provide comprehensive support to students
Requirements:
* A driving licence or reliable means of transport to reach the school location is essential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, teachers, and parents
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced classroom environment and adapt to changing situations
