Nursing Assistant Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward team at The Wellington Hospital in London. As a valued member of the care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and assisting with clinical procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Remuneration and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £28,500 per annum, plus a 9% shift allowance, bringing the total remuneration to approximately £31,045 per annum. In addition, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including 25 days' annual leave, private healthcare insurance, and a comprehensive pension scheme.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Nursing Associate NMC registration and completion of Level 5 Nursing Associate Foundation Degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in a hospital setting, preferably in neuro, rehabilitation, medical, or critical care environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
